Ben S. Silver

Ben Silver is an attorney at Gruenberg Law in San Diego dedicated to representing individuals in employment, personal injury cases and malpractice claims (legal and medical). Ben focuses on the areas of retaliation, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. He also works on wage and hour disputes involving meal and rest break regulations, failure to pay wages, overtime and misclassification of exempt employee status violations.
As trial counsel, in 2022, Ben obtained a $1.85 million jury verdict for a buyer whose employer, a worldwide company, failed to adequately engage in the good faith interactive process with her. This verdict was a Top 50 Labor & Employment Jury Verdict in the United States in the year 2022.
Having been with the firm for more than a decade, Ben has resolved numerous cases for six and seven figures and enjoys representing all types of employees, from laborers to C-level executives. Ben takes pride in representing those that need help and obtaining justice for those who have been wronged.
Ben is a native of San Jose, California but spent his formidable years attending high school and college on the east coast. He graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania with Bachelors of Arts degrees in English and Business and Economics. Ben returned to California and obtained his J.D. from California Western School of Law. While at California Western, Ben was presented with the Wiley M. Manuel Honors Society Award for pro bono services.
Ben is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and the Federal Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California. He is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, California Employment Lawyers Association, and Consumer Attorneys of California.
Ben enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter, golfing, playing baseball, cooking, and traveling as much as he can. Ben loves living in San Diego and taking advantage of the outdoors as much as he can.
