Josh represented a security guard who while patrolling a parking lot damaged the employer’s truck he was driving. His employer illegally deducted approximately $425.00, the cost of repairing the truck. Josh demanded the money from the employer. The employer would not pay it. Josh sued the employer. The employer fought the case up until one day before trial when it admitted it owed Josh’s client the money. Josh demanded his attorney’s fees for litigating the case. The issue of attorney’s fees was put before the Court. The court awarded Josh approximately $20,000 in attorney’s fees for having to recover $425.00 for his client.
