Matthew Majd

Attorney

Matt is an Associate Attorney at Gruenberg Law. Matt routinely works under the established Senior Trial Attorneys at Gruenberg Law. Matt focuses on the areas of retaliation, discrimination, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and harassment. He also worked on a variety of personal injury matters such as motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability. Matt previously worked at a national defense firm where he was second chair in a three-week jury trial.

Matt received his J.D. cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2021 and graduated with a concentration in Civil Litigation. During law school, Matt competed as a member of the school’s mock trial academy and moot court team. He also won the award for Third Best Oralist in the USD Alumni Torts Moot Court Competition. Matt was a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge William V. Gallo in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Prior to law school, Matt obtained his B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law from the University of California, San Diego.

In his free time, Matt enjoys volunteering at the First Presbyterian Church soup kitchen, assisting as a judge in mock trial tournaments, spending time with his puppy Ryder, and being with his family or by the beach.
