Katherine Dishongh

Attorney

Katherine Dishongh (“Kat”) is an attorney at Gruenberg Law committed to protecting and defending the rights of California employees. She is a loyal advocate for those who have suffered injustice in the workplace.

Before law school, Kat received her undergraduate degree from University of Oregon, in Eugene Oregon, where she attained a bachelor’s degree in History with an emphasis on Latin America during the Cold War. Kat studied abroad at Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro in Queretaro, Mexico and wrote her senior thesis paper on Remembering Tlatelolco 1968.

Kat earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law (“CWSL”), where she graduated cum laude on a merit scholarship. While at CWSL, Kat served on the board of the Women’s Law Caucus as Issue Based Coordinator. Kat worked up to four jobs per term while in law school and made Dean’s List in Fall 2019, Summer 2020, and Fall 2020.

In her free time, Kat plays in a band (“The Gray Kats”), writes and performs original music in San Diego, practices archery, and takes her dog, Barry, to the dog beach.
