Josh Pang

Josh (or “JP”) is a trial attorney at Gruenberg Law. He exclusively represents employees who are victims of unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation.

Most recently, Josh obtained a $21.9 million jury verdict in a labor trafficking case against a corporate employer. It was the fourth largest Labor & Employment jury verdict in California in 2024.

Josh also secured a $1.8 million jury verdict in a gender discrimination and retaliation case in 2023. Although this was a “zero offer” case prior to trial, the corporate defendant was ultimately responsible for paying a total of $4.2 million.

Josh obtained a $1.1 million jury verdict for a janitor who suffered disability discrimination by her employer, a large national company. It was the second largest civil rights jury verdict in San Diego County in 2019.

Josh also handles appeals, recently securing appellate victory against a Fortune 500 company.

In 2025, Josh received Super Lawyers recognition, an honor given to only 5% of attorneys. Prior to that, in each year from 2022 through 2024, Josh had been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine.

Josh obtained his B.A. from California State University, Fullerton where he obtained a double-major while competing nationally for the university’s policy debate team, winning multiple team and individual awards. He then received his J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law. Josh was Articles Editor of the USD Journal of Climate Energy Law. He was also Community Relations Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

He has spoken on event panels for the San Diego County Bar Association, and at both his alma maters, Cal State Fullerton and USD.
