Chris Hoodecheck
Attorney
Chris is an Associate Law & Motion Attorney at Gruenberg Law. Although he maintains a heavy focus on Law & Motion, Chris routinely works under the established Senior Trial Attorneys at Gruenberg Law. Chris focuses on the areas of retaliation, discrimination, hostile work environment, wage and hour violations, and harassment. He has also worked on a variety of personal injury and civil rights matters to include claims under the California Unruh Civil Rights Act.
Chris received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis Minnesota, where he attained a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology (Law, Criminology, and Deviance). Through the University of Minnesota, Chris was introduced to California Western School of Law, which he attended on scholarship, and ultimately received his J.D.
While at California Western School of Law, Chris made the Dean’s List, served as an active member of both the Environmental Law Society and Constitutional Law Society, and received the Academic Achievement Award in Employment Law.
Chris entered Law School intending to pursue a career in criminal prosecution but instead found his calling in civil litigation, specifically in the context of employment.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his Fiancée (and their two puppies – Nellie and Torrey), playing basketball and baseball, and coaching youth flag football in Del Mar.
